The Palm Pilot is the perfect field companion for the modern
photographer especially when loaded with Phil Davis' BTZS ExpoDev
program.
ExpoDev will calculate all the variables that go into making a
correct exposure. Whether you work with the Zone or BTZS Incident
systems simply enter your high or low values and ExpoDev will prompt you
for all the variables that go into making the exposure.
Automatically calculates:
- Closeup bellows factor
- Depth of field
- Average
Gradient
- Subject Brightness Range
- Exposure correction
for filter factor
- Reciprocity correction for popular films
- Exposure correction due to lens flare
In addition,
ExpoDev includes stopwatch with a readout to 1/10 second to time long
exposures.
ExpoDev comes preprogrammed with reciprocity information for many of
the most popular films.
ExpoDev keeps a log of all calculations along with the film holder
number and a description of the subject. All the information you need to
correctly develop the negative when you return to the darkroom is
available in one place. Information is stored as a Palm memo for easy
syncing with your PC
Works with any device running the Palm OS (Palm, Handspring, Sony,
etc.) Requires Windows PC (Windows 98 or better) to install the
program to your Palm. Note: Not recommended for Windows 7. Windows 7 does not support HotSync in all versions.
