Field cameras with short bellows extensions of up to approximately 320mm can use an accessory lens barrel which shortens the distance between the lens and camera by approximately 44mm without mechanical vignetting resulting in a distance between lens and camera of 280mm. The rear of the accessory barrel has a Size 3 thread so that a conventional Size 3 lens board can be used when this is attached.
