The Apogeo II Pinhole Shutter is affordable, thin, and lightweight, and offers focal length options for Zone Plate work from 75mm to 300mm. The shutter is manufactured in the USA and carries a lifetime warranty. Handmade by Minute Aperture Imaging.
The shutter assembly consists of three pieces. The aircraft aluminum Shutter Body, the Black Mounting Flange which has a nest for the aperture plate, and the Rear Mounting Ring which the two brass ball screws thread into.
The shutter mount is optimized for Compur-1, Copal-1 lens boards or a hole size 1.65"/42mm.
Camera mounting possibilities are almost unlimited. The shutter is attached and aperture plates are installed or changed by unscrewing the two 4-40 brass ball mounting screws.
Shutter purchase includes one Zone Plate aperture of a focal length of your choice. Additional Zone Plate apertures may be purchased separately for $32 each.
